Puff n Fluff Pet Spa: Supporting the TAG-Ed Mission for the Future Economic Well Being of Georgia

Puff n Fluff Pet Spa, one of the best dog groomers in Johns Creek, GA., is proud to be part of the recently concluded The TAG-Ed Vine Event, an invitation-only wine tasting and auction supporting the workforce development of Georgia’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) students and workforce.

The Vine Event 2015 was held at The Stave Room at the American Spirit Works on Thursday, October 15th from 6PM to 9PM. Funds raised from the event will be used to provide deserving Georgia students with post-secondary scholarships. It will also be utilized to enable startups and nonprofit organizations to host interns, and support other TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) initiatives (e.g. the Georgia STEM Day and Day of Code) aimed at engaging more students in STEM education and careers.

Through the unwavering support of everyone involved, the 2015 TAG-Ed Vine Event was a huge success. More than 300 guests participated in the event which raised over $100,000 in funds. This allowed TAG-Ed to reach one million people around the State of Georgia and place 162 interns.

About TAG-Ed

According to TAG-Ed, there will be 218,000 job openings in the STEM fields by 2018. Unfortunately, there will be a significant shortage of qualified applicants to fill them.

To bridge the gap, the organization is working to increase awareness on the importance of STEM education by generating a high level of enthusiasm for STEM-oriented curriculum among middle and high school students, and by supporting underprivileged youth in pursuing STEM education through partnerships with key education organizations and technology businesses.
